Covid regulations vary greatly from state to state. VIP Dance will follow all local and venue requirements for each event. Prior to releasing an event schedule, we will obtain the current rules from the venue in order to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information. As we receive information from our venues, we will update this page under Venue Specifications below.
We plan to run "normal" scheduling wherever possible. Should a particular venue have set capacity limits, we may be required to limit the amount of guests with each dancer or schedule in smaller groupings.
Waivers are required for all participants and must be submitted prior to competing. Waivers are signed through parent accounts (for dancers under 18). Certain venues may require an additional signed release.
Masks are optional at all VIP Dance events unless otherwise required in a particular venue or city. There is no penalty for wearing masks on stage should a studio choose to do so.
VIP Dance does not require proof of vaccination or a negative test unless otherwise required by a particular venue or county.
Due to the recent change in guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, most of our venues are no longer requiring masks, proof of negative tests, vaccines, or capacity limits.
Should we be made aware of any such requirements from venues for one of our upcoming events, we will post to this page to give studios a heads up prior to the schedule posting. Otherwise, the latest requirements and recommendations will be posted to the city schedule pages.
